Travel information – how to arrive

By Plane
The nearest airport is in Ostrava (40 km), the main airport is in Prague (310 km). Other possible airports are in Vienna (320 km), Bratislava (250 km), Katowice (120 km), Kraków (200 km).
It is possible to fly to any of the above mentioned airports and then use train or bus.

In Prague the connection between Václav Havel Airport Prague and Prague Main Station (Praha hlavní nádraží, Praha hl.n.) is provided by:

• AE (Airport Express) buses which operate daily at regular 30-minute intervals (or more frequently). More information here.
• Public transport bus. We recommend taking the 119 bus (Terminal 1/Terminal 2 – Veleslavín train station) and changing to metro line A. Take metro line A up to station Muzeum, where it is necessary to change to line C and go one station to station Hlavní nádraží (Main station), see bus lines and metro lines.

Ostrava Airport is connected with Ostrava City, see airport connections.

Then use train or bus to Ostravice.

If needed it is possible to get a microbus ride directly from the hotel (ask at the reception).

By Train and by bus
Train and bus connections can be found here. By train go to Ostrava hlavní nádraží and there you change the train to Ostravice. The local train from Ostrava to Ostravice takes approximately 1 hour. The hotel is near the train station.

If you inform us about your arrival time, we can wait for you at the station.

By car
The conference site is easily accessible by car. Parking at the hotel is free of charge. The Hotel Freud is in the center of the village directly at the main road.
