hotel Belaria, Hradec nad Moravicí, Czech Republic from Sunday, June 22 (arrival day) to Sunday, June 29, 2008 (departure day).
In view of your acknowledged contributions to the field of functional equations, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the Symposium. We hope you will contribute to its success by giving a talk and by taking part in discussions and other scientific activities of meeting.
The location of the Symposium, Hradec nad Moravicí, is a little village near Opava (7 km) in the north-east part of the Czech Republic. Opava is about 400 km far from Prague and it can be reached from Prague by train, by bus or by car. There is also a local airport in Ostrava, with several flights a day from and to Prague. For participants there will be a special bus from the Prague airport, Ostrava airport, and also from Opava. Hotel Belaria is an ideal place for conferences - it is surrounded by forests, there are swimming pool and sauna.
The scientific programme of the International Symposia on Functional Equations is controlled
by the Scientific Committee :
- János Aczél (Honorary Chair; Waterloo, ON, Canada)
- Roman Ger (Chairman; Katowice, Poland)
- Zoltán Daróczy (Debrecen, Hungary)
- Jürg Rätz (Bern, Switzerland)
- Ludwig Reich (Graz, Austria)
- Abe Sklar (Chicago, U.S.A.)
The symposium is organized by the Mathematical Institute,
Silesian University in Opava.
