Czech-Slovak Workshop on
Discrete Dynamical Systems

The workshop continues the series of Czech-Slovak Workshop on Discrete Dynamical Systems. It is focused on topological, symbolic and low-dimensional dynamics.

Workshop is organized by Mathematical Institute of Silesian University in Opava. The arrival day is Sunday, 26th June and the scientific program starts on Monday, 27th, in the morning. On the last day of the conference, Thursday, 30th June, the scientific program is planned until lunch.

The workshop is dedicated to the memory of Professor Jaroslav Smítal and to celebrate his life’s work.

Conference fee is set up to 180 € and includes lunch for every day of the conference (Monday to Thursday), conference materials, coffee breaks, conference banquet and conference excursion.

Conference fee for an accompanying person will be set individually, in dependence of his/her willingness to attend particular conference events.

Dinners (except the banquet on Tuesday) are not organized by the conference. We will provide you with the list of nice restaurants in Opava.

For accommodation we recommend hotel Iberia. We negotiated special prices for conference participants – 40 € per night for single room and 30 € for one half of double room. To book the room it is necessary to write an e-mail to info@hoteliberia.cz. The reservation form is blocked to keep the hotel free for the conference. To the subject of the e-mail put the code “CSWDDS 2022”, please.

Another possibility for accommodation is hotel Kramer, the prices differ from 60 € to 104 € per night, depending on the type of chosen room or apartment. For booking also use the code “CSWDDS 2022” and e-mail info@hotelkramer.cz. Hotel Kramer is withholding its rooms for the conference only until May 22nd.

Breakfasts are included in the prices of accommodation.
